The other week at the office I hung off the side of the Panerai boat Eilean shooting the Panerai Vele d’Epoca Classic Boat Challenge!
I’m no daredevil and I really thought I would just stay in a safe zone and do a few shots but once the race started I really lost myself to the moment and ended up in positions I never would have found myself in if it weren’t for the camera.
It was an amazing experience and a few weeks later I still find myself thinking about how much fun the racing was. I didn’t know much about the Vele d’Epoca before shooting this project, but I have to say the experience of being on the beautiful boat, racing through the blue waters with waves crashing around you, I can see how one could easily become addicted to the rush and the beauty of it all.
