Fashion week (3 months really) is less than a week away and as I review my wardrobe I’m shocked at how many little repairs I have to make to shirts, coats and cardigans.
Ok, I also kinda like playing with my cool LORENZI sewing kit. As a lot of you know, I took lots of tailoring classes in college and I’ve always found hand-stitching an extremely calming and meditative act not much different than chopping vegetables or sweeping. The repetitive motion that keeps your eyes focused but your mind free to wander.
If I ever thought of it beforehand I would take my little kit on long flights, what a great way to pass the time if you’ve already seen all the movies available!
