I was just buying new
for my trip and thinking about writing a post about them when I read that
has given the trend a try. “I just can’t do heels any more. At least not when I’m working. I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable.” There was a time when I walked to work in
pumps and wouldn’t dare wear trainers in Paris but times have changed. Now chic girls are photographed in the front row of fashion week wearing them and if they are good enough for Victoria Beckham, I think that’s the ultimate stamp of approval. Victoria Beckham definitely had a new uniform for New York fashion week. I prefer white Stan Smith style sneakers with relaxed wider leg pants and loose sweaters as she wore them.
Phoebe Philo, the designer of Celine, is another fan of white sneakers and trousers. If money is no object, Celine makes quite a few pairs of chic slip on sneakers.
Since I wear so much grey, I bought these
